We’re getting close to Christmas, so I thought I’d bust out an extra special Christmas list with a twist! This one is, unsurprisingly, all about World of Warcraft and leveling fast! All of these ideas will help either you or a loved one level fast in WoW – so I hope I can give you a few good present ideas!
Lets get started — in no particular order, here’s my picks.
- To cut down on mouse fatigue, and look cool while you’re playing, the Logitech MX “Air” Rechargeable Cordless Mouse hits the spot. It looks cool, its sleek, its cordless, and its rechargeable. You can even use it as a pointer – just like a t.v. remote. Check out www.logitech.com for more info!
- A high quality home espresso machine for late night adventures in World of Warcraft. I’ve gone for something cheap like with the Breville Barvista (www.breville.com), but if you have about $500USD to throw around, do what I intend to do with my Christmas money and grab a Rancilio Silvia. Just be sure to compare the many online vendors for the best deal!
- This is an easy one – whats a good coffee machine without life giving coffee beans to go with it? Get yourself or your fast leveling WoW addict a variety of roasts. The darker the better if you ask me, and don’t skimp on the quality – you really do get what you pay for!
- A great chair. We all spend so much time in our chairs leveling up fast that we sometimes forget the detrimental effects they can have on us. There’s also the fact that a good posture sensitive chair is real comfy-like. Just like coffee, good chairs aren’t cheap. But just look at the cost on a per hour basis and it’ll be an easy sale, right?
- Cut down on eye strain with a better monitor, or go all out and get a new system, and experience WoW all over again in smooth, full detail glory. Be sure again to check all the online price checking services by googling “computer online price comparisons”. You’ll get different results depending on where you live, so I won’t bother listing American/Euro/Australian websites!
- Game cards. We all need credits to play – so why not head into your local games store & pick up a few game cards for a friend or loved one?
- A copy of the new expansion, Wrath of the Lich King! Nothing says Christmas more than a Gnome Deathknight if you ask me… *ahem*.
- Fast Leveling Guides! I know – you saw it coming a mile away – but what would a fast WoW leveling present guide be without the best leveling guide you can find? I highly recommend Team iDemise, Brian Kopp, and John “Zygor” Cook. They all have map mods, which means no alt-tabbing a hundred times a day trying to find out where you’re supposed to go! Each guide has its strong points, so check out their websites and see what you think! You can’t really go wrong.
Can you level up to level 70, or level 80 by Christmas? I hope so, and I hope I’ve given you some great ideas for presents, or at least, great ideas to demand from friends and family!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I could hardly believe it when I found out – someone has already made a Wrath of the Lich King leveling guide.
I thought to myself, it must be junk… after all, its only been a few weeks since release. How much could anyone learn in that time?
I was of course set straight by the author, who has in fact been playing since the beta for Wrath of the Lich King was released, and is a grizzled WoW vet from the very first beta of World of Warcraft. In that time since the Wrath Beta, he’s leveled up numerous characters to level 80, explored in depth the new content, and of course hunted down all the “how to” info on leveling up in Wrath while you enjoy the new expansion.
While this guide is not just a guide on how to level fast, all of its content will help you get there quicker. Things like:
- The guides to the new locations, towns and instances – and how to take advantage of them,
- Boss strategies that help you take down all the newest, biggest and baddest bosses – know this and it’ll provide you with more XP faster, and the gear rewards that come with it,
- How to make buckets of gold in Wrath,
- A complete guide to every profession in the game, and every class in the game, and how Wrath has changed it,
- … and a ton more.
If you’re in the market for a guide that’ll clue you in on the insider secrets to the newest World of Warcraft expansion, this guide may very well be the best on the net.
The best part is the owner of the guide (like all good guides, I’ve found), is more than happy to unconditionally guarantee that you’ll love the guide, and get some unbeleivable results in no time flat – the sign of someone who is confident their guide delivers results.

Have you ever considered buying a World of Warcraft character and just skipping the grind altogether? Or maybe purchasing the account of someone else…? Or perhaps you thought you might enlist one of those power leveling services?
Its a tempting prospect… After all it can take weeks if not months to get a character to the lofty heights of level 70 or level 80. And those levels are where the fun really begins for most people – raids, high level gear, and amazing monsters to fight.
So why not skip the leveling grind by buying, transferring or enlisting power levelers? Let me level a few reasons at you…
- The biggest & best reason is that Blizzard legally forbids it in their terms of use agreement. See the full details here. If you breach this agreement, you’re liable to be banned. And not just the character that was being leveled on your account, your whole account will be banned – and you can’t get it back. So to be clear – you will be banned by Blizzard when they find you’ve shared your account, bought someone elses account, or gave your details to a power leveling service for them to level for you!
- You miss out on the fun of the lower levels. That’s right, the lower levels are great fun too. Its where you learn your character’s ins and outs, and its where you sculpt your skills and abilities. What is a hero without a past?
- You miss out on friendships and contacts in the game. Those friends and contacts commonly become future guild mates, or grouping partners you can call on when you need them… and need them you will when you hit the higher levels of the game.
- You inherit someone’s past, or forgo your own. Imagine logging on and having an irate player screaming at you, or a guild that has banned you from joining, or people talking to you like a good friend… but you have no idea who they are. All of these are bizarre, annoying occurrences are yours if you tempt fate and skip the leveling ladder.
- You pay through the nose! Getting someone else to level you, or buying someone else’s high level account can be expensive. Why? Because it involves a very precious, non refundable, non tradable resource called TIME. Someone else has expended their own limited supply, and that’s rightly included in the cost.
- The stress. You know you’ve done something wrong, you know Blizzard bans people every day for account transfers and leveling services… but what you don’t know is when its going to catch up to you. Perhaps you spend another month getting from 70 to 80… are you shortly after going to lose that whole account when Blizzard catches up with you? Its very possible. And its interfering with your enjoyment of an amazing game!
Just level legally! As always, I recommend people check out the array of amazing leveling guides on the net – there really is one that will fit anyone, and you can legally skip the grind by using them! Just check out my fast WoW leveling guide on the front page for a quick and easy run down of the pros and cons of various leveling guides available.
Until next time – level responsibly!
